Description:
NOTE: The 5V regulator only supports IPS screens and does not provide the voltages for the original screens.
This is a replacement power regulator board, which supplies a stable 5V at up to 1A. This upgrade will be able to support all power hungry mods such as IPS screens, flash carts and amp units.
Can be used with or without the original power regulator board. If maintaining the original, please sure to:
Gameboy Pocket = Cut pin 6 on original power regulator
Gameboy Colour = Cut pin 7 on original power regulator
Requires some technical fitting to install including soldering, the thin pcb comes pre-populated, making installation much easier, no need to solder the tiny capacitors or other parts.
