Description:
If your having issues powering up an Atari Lynx one component that is involved with this power circuit is U6, a 4069 hex inverter IC, this part can fail leading to problems with turning the console on an off.
This part works as part of the on / off functionality for the console, if your having problems with the on / off button this IC might be bad.
Replacing this part requires soldering, a reasonable level of experience is needed as there are 14 pins, they are not the smallest legs but poor soldering may result in bridging pins together.
You should handle this part with care as it is more sensitive to static than other parts, ensure you are earthed and work with tweezers.
This part can be used on an Atari Lynx 1 or 2 handheld.
