What is the Kern PEJ Approved Precision Balance?
The Kern PEJ Approved Precision Balance is a robust and sturdy balance with metal housing and trade approval for selling subjects based on weight. A draught shield is standard on all models with readout [d] = 0.001 g for ensuring accurate weighing at all times. The PEJ is a highly accurate, high resolution balance that is at home in harsher environments where a tougher, higher capacity precision balance is needed.
What are the features of the Kern PEJ Approved Precision Balance?
The Kern PEJ Precision Balance features automatic internal adjustment, which guarantees a high degree of accuracy and makes the balance independent of its location of use.
The weighing with tolerance range (checkweighing) allows for the input of 2 upper and 2 lower limit values through 4 arrow keys, with an audible signal assist to help with portioning, dispensing or grading. This aims to make the weighing process easier and more efficient.
The Kern PEJ can also be used for suspended weighing using a built-in loop on the underside of the balance which is standard on all models with readout [d] = 0.001 g – useful for weighing awkward shaped subjects. Please note that a hook is not included for hanging subjects.
RS-232 output allows the PEJ Approved Precision Balance to be connected directly to a printer or PC.
A protective working cover is included with delivery.
