What is the Kern IXS Stainless Steel Floor Scale?
The IXS is a tough, IP-rated stainless steel floor scale from Kern. It has an IP68 waterproof indicator which has an extra large, backlit display – this means weight readings can be seen clearly, even in dimly-lit environments.
The indicator is suitable for regular washing own to keep it clean, and the high quality, silicone-coated aluminium load cell – which is IP65-rated – will provide reliable, high accuracy weighing. A bracket means the indicator can be mounted to a wall or bench.
The IXS has RS-232 and RS-485 ports as well as optional Bluetooth, for connecting to printers and PCs.
An ESD drain protects against electrostatic discharge – for example, for electrostatically-charged weighing objects or people who work with the scale.

The IXS’s weighing functions include:
Checkweighing – a visual and audible signal helps with portioning, dispensing or grading;
Dynamic weighing – weigh items even if there is movement on the scale, such as weighing small animals;
Parts counting – count multiple identical items instantly without the risk of human error when counting by hand;
Summation – multiple weight readings can be totalised.
