What is the Kern FKB Precision Bench Scale?
The Kern FKB is a very high precision, professional weighing scale with a resolution of up to 360000 points. This allows for high capacities combined with extremely fine readability, such 6kg x 0.02g. The robust aluminium cast housing maintains the stability, protects the weighing technology elements and is robust enough to cope with everyday use.
The FKB is also particularly practical thanks to the large weighing ranges and compact dimensions allowing for users to accurately weigh heavy loads in the most restricted of spaces.
There is a pre-tare function for manual subtraction of a known container weight, useful for checking fill-levels. Users will also find freely programmable weighing units, such as length of wire g/m or surface weight g/m2 (paper, material, metal) making for a truly versatile scale. A protective working cover is included with the scale.

The Kern FKB Bench Scale has a resolution of up to 1:36000, which enables it to be used to weigh subjects to a higher degree of precision. A higher resolution is useful for determining very small weight differences, such as gas wastage or abrasion of mechanical parts, rock samples, minerals and silver.
