The approved EWJ by Kern is an easy to use, high accuracy trade approved laboratory balance. With multiple weighing functions, the EWJ provides fast, reliable weight readings with precision accuracy as low as 0.001g. Its portable size and automatic internal adjustment – time-controlled every 2 hours – means it can used wherever it’s needed.

The Kern EWJ boasts multiple functions to make your weighing processes easier and results more accurate. All primary functions have their own key on the keypad which makes operation simple, even for first-time users. As well as this, the capacity display bar lights up to show how much of the weighing range is still available.
All models with 600g capacity include a draft shield, with three sliding doors for easy access to the items being weighed. Percentage weighing and recipe formulation modes are also available. A protective working cover is included with the scale.
The RS-232 interface means weight data can instantly be transferred to a PC (using the optional RS-232 cable available as an accessory) or printed via one of the optional printers.
