What is the Kern CDS Counting Scale?
The Kern CDS is an extremely easy to use and accurate counting scale that features a self-explanatory graphic control panel that can be understood immediately, even without operating instructions. This makes it ideal for untrained users and entry level operators.
The CDS also features an impressive 300,000 point resolution and flat weighing pan, meaning it can be used to weigh large heavy boxes and containers to highly precise level.
How to use Kern CDS Counting Scale
The precise counting function is easy to set up and use on the CDS and can be imitated by pressing the key labelled ‘PCS/G’. Begin by placing an empty container onto the weighing plate and tare by pressing the ‘Tare’ key.
Next, place the reference quantity for the goods to be counted into the container (5, 10 or 20 pieces) and confirm the selected reference quantity by pressing the key ‘5’, ‘10’ or ‘20’ keys. Pour in the goods to be counted and the number of pieces will immediately be shown in the display.
Applications of the Kern CDS Counting Scale
The CDS Counting Scale can be used to bolts and nails. The detachable display means that the CDS can be used to weigh larger items without the risk of the display being blocked from vision.
