Description: 

You should test the screen before starting the installation, leaving the protective film over the LCD, soldering is not required to test the basic functions, this test should be done to make sure the screen is undamaged and powering up as expected.

The Hispeedido IPS backlight screen kit for Game Boy Color offers a modern bright display with enhanced viewing angles, plus a range or additional built in features.

Features include brightness controls, pixel effects, and an on screen display (OSD) menu giving access to vertical / horizontal screen position adjustment, battery level indicator and color adjustments.

You can use this kit with without soldering, however you will not be able to access some of the additional features such as the OSD without soldering some wires.

A Q5 grey lens is included in the pack, but you will need a suitable shell, a standard shell is not compatible without trimming.

You can trim a shell yourself, or you can purchase an IPS ready shell from a wide range of shells compatible with this kit, make sure the IPS ready shell is Q5 compatible.

This kit includes: 1x IPS LCD, 1x Ribbon flex, PCB driver board, hookup wire, touch sensor.

Items needed for this mod: IPS ready or cut housing shell & IPS modified glass lens (not included)

Soldering is required to install this products extra features such as OSD menu, vertical and horizontal adjustments and battery level indicator, please seek professional assistance if unsure. 

Compatible with Nintendo Game Boy Color only, not compatible with other models. Please check compatibility before purchasing.
