What is the IWS Waterproof Bench Scale?
The IWS is an IP68-rated waterproof scale constructed from durable stainless steel, with water-tight sealing for top-quality protection.
The IP68 rating means the IWS can handle damp, wet, humid and dusty environments – staying reliable and accurate whatever you’re weighing. This makes the IWS a much more capable weighing machine than many other devices, and represents fantastic value for money.
IWS scales have a built-in checkweighing application with a red LED display, as well as adjustable high and low limits suitable for line packing applications. The scale easily fits on a worktop or bench surface and includes an internal rechargeable battery, large weighing pan and front and rear display.
How to use the IWS Waterproof Bench Scale
Get accurate, reliable weight readings even in the harshest of environments with the IWS.
Simply switch the scale on, and, ensuring the scale is on a level surface, add an item to the stainless steel pan to get a weight reading.
You can remove an item’s weight, such as a bowl or tray, from the scale, so that the display only shows the weight of the contents. To do this add the empty bowl or tray too the scale, press the tare button, and then add the bowl or tray with the items to weigh.
You can set high and low limits to ensure items being weighed are within the parameters you need, via the mode button. Then, when an item’s weight is below the low limit, or above the high limit, a buzzer will sound.
