The 4th generation Airpods were released in September 2024 in two versions, those with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and those without. It features a new design and the H2 chip, improved Bluetooth 5.3 and a smaller charging case. The ANC model also comes with a charging case that works with the Apple Watch charger.

Battery Airpods – Up to 5 hours of listening time (up to 4 hours with Active Noise Cancellation enabled) or 4.5 hours of talk time on a single charge

Airpods with Charging Case – more than 30 hours listening time (up to 20 hours with Active Noise Cancellation enabled) and up to 20 hours of talk time. 5 minutes in the case provides up to 1 hour of listening time or up to 45 minutes of talk time
