What is the Adam CBX Compact Bench Scale?
The CBX is a portable and easy to use compact scale constructed from solid ABS housing and grade 304 stainless steel, making it easy to clean even after demanding field operations. CBX balances are powered by a lithium rechargeable battery and can be recharged on-the-go via the USB interface. This battery will provide an astonishing 200 hours of use – or more – from one charge!
Parts counting is easy with selectable preset sample sizes.
The bright backlit display, which is highly visible for clear results in most lighting conditions, features 18mm-high digits and a low-battery indicator. Levelling feet and a bubble indicator simplify setup to ensure quick, reliable results anywhere.
How to use the Adam CBX Compact Bench Scale
The CBX is perfect for simple, accurate weighing processes – and very easy to use.
Begin by making sure scale is level by using the in-built bubble indicator and adjustable feet. Next, simply turn the scale on using the power on button. The backlit display can be toggled on or off by pressing the mode/units button. Hold this button to change units.
For weighing items in a container, place the container on the weighing pan and press the tare/zero button to set the scale to zero.
Press and hold the counting key to use the counting function. The display will show PC with “10” flashing; press the mode/unit key to change the sample size – available options are 10,20, 50, 100 & 200. Next, put the number of items to be counted that equal the sample size on the top pan, press the counting key to confirm. The item weight is now stored in the balance and you are ready to begin counting.
